摘要：

Carlo Scarpa (1906-1978), a well-known Italian architect, is honored as the master of light application, mater of details and connoisseur of material. Based on the simple narration of the cultural creation background of Carlo Scarpa, this paper analyzes the decoration characteristics and basic methods of Scapra's architecture and concludes some commonly used mother themes of decoration to point out that all the connotations of Scarpa's architecture are hidden in the details.
