Study on countermeasures of sustainable development for coal mining cities

There are many problems in the mining cities during the long time exploitation. The first is that the resource is drying up and it is difficulty to turn into other industries. The second is that it is inconvenience to get a job for local people and this will effect local society's stabilization. The third is that the integrated renovation works inactively and the regional zoology is worsened continually. So it is necessary to carry out sustainable development policy for local-economy's development and society's stability. Basing on systemic analyzing the problems existed in mining development, countermeasures are recommended from the view of industry layout, environment protection and economy development. They are 'peoples' view of development', 'adjusting industry structure and optimizing city layout', 'preventing from pollution and protecting city environment' , 'improving population diathesis, boosting social bear with sustainable development'. The conclusion has some-guidance meaning to improve people's living quality, ensure local economy's increasing and social stabilization.
