摘要
The modeling of movement in public transport is a special case of vector network analyses. Compared to a vehicle traffic and pedestrians movement, there is a limitation in that the movement takes place within specific communication lines, which run on strictly defined routes and interchange/transfer from one line to another is limited to stop and takes additional time. Every line has own route and change between lines take additional time. Partly as a solution to this problem have been designed multimodal networks have been designed, available in GIS software. Their main use is to connect together the various means of public transport (tram, tube, bus) used in a given area. However, the problem of changing lines within one means of transport is still not solved. In the paper authors proposed to treat every line as a separate network. It allowed to create transfer points and to define interchange time in the form of an attribute. The attribute stores information about the time, which is needed for changing the line. The proposed method was verified on chosen part of communication network in Krakow (in particular taking into account poorly communicated places, that/which do not have direct connections to the city center).
