摘要
Mechanical properties at dynamic loading are determined over a wide range of materials. The applications cover the automotive industry, the production industry, civil engineering and also space programs. Aside of the evaluation of stress-strain relations such dynamic testing includes also investigations of material failures as well as investigations of the mechanical behaviour of components and structural parts. In order to cover this wide range, a large number of experimental set ups is necessary which have to be adjusted regarding the speed and strain range. The specifications for such test equipments are much more complicated than those for static testing. Examplified for different materials, test procedures to determine mechanical properties at dynamic loading are presented in this contribution. The dynamic tensile test, the pressure test, the torsion test and also a biaxial test set up are highlighted. Finally, an equipment for component tests is introduced.
