摘要
An electric and mechanical coupled system simulator has been developed for designing screw compressors. The simulator contains both electric and mechanical models and analysed them simultaneously. The simulator covers the input of electric power to output of air supply including an inverter, motor, torque transmission, screw air-end, capacity controller, and air receiver tank. It momentarily indicates all parameters, for example, electric voltage, current, magnetic flux density, torque, acceleration, air flowrate, and pressure anywhere in those models. Therefore, even in unsteady or extraordinary conditions, any weak points or over-specifications can be found easily. The simulator can be used in model-based developments for screw compressors to improve their efficiency and reliability in a short term.
