The selective oxidation of cyclohexane using iron (III) incorporated zeolite Y and iron (III) supported zeolite Y in a heterogeneous biomimetic oxidation system

摘要：
The oxidation of cyclohexane under mild conditions using iron incorporated zeolite Y or iron supported on zeolite Y as a heterogeneous biomimetic system with Pd and H-2 + O-2 produced only cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol selectively. These catalysts gave an improved yield on the formation of cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone as compared to pure Fe2O3. The catalytic activity of Fe(III) supported on dealuminated zeolite Y was examined and compared with that of the amorphous support system.
