摘要
The paper discusses the principle of operation and obtained results of analysis of an autonomous inverter supply for pulse induction arc welding based on two stages. In the investigated inverter supply the DC/AC block consists of two separate inverters. The first inverter provides the necessary current for the welding process and the second inverter is intended to support the ignition of the arc. Useful design recommendations are obtained for dimensioning of the circuit. The carried out PSPICE analysis includes different operation modes and transition between the starting mode and the nominal mode. The transformer realization is discussed based on a nanocrystalline magnetic material core.
