摘要
An overview of various processes is provided in which use of ionic membranes and related technologies (dialysis, electrodialysis, electrolysis, etc.) enable the recovery of valuable chemicals. The most relevant literature in the field is surveyed and some elucidating case studies are discussed, also accounting for the results of some research programmes carried out in our laboratories.
