摘要：
During undrained loading, geotechnical engineers consider saturated clays an incompressible material which cannot be easily dealt with by numerical methods. By using special fundamental solutions for nu = 0.5, this paper presents rigorous boundary element solutions for impedance functions of square foundations embedded in a perfectly incompressible half-space. For direct engineering applications, a comprehensive set of approximate formulas is included. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
