摘要
Visualisation research explores techniques for conveying information in a meaningful way to allow users to make sense of data. This paper aims to review state-of-the-art information visualisation methods and techniques particularly for farmed data in defence simulations. It also discusses some of the key visualisation design challenges and outlines a conceptual framework for future research directions in information visualisation. It further presents a concept demonstrator that has been designed and developed to visualise joint force simulations for the purpose of showcasing some of the key concepts in the proposed information visualisation conceptual framework.
