摘要
The influence of catalytic promoters, including Al2O3, ZrO2, and MgO, in Cu/ZnO based catalysts was surveyed by partial oxidation of methanol for hydrogen production. Both physical and chemical properties of the catalysts were investigated. The outcome shows that instead of Cu particle size, promoters play a critical role in varying catalytic performances and stabilities. This can be ascribed to the chemical interaction between copper and the promoter.
