Control of bifurcations and chaos in small-world networks

摘要
An impulsive hybrid control method was proposed to control the period doubling bifurcations and stabilize unstable period orbits embedded in the chaotic attractor of a small-world network. Simulation results show that the bifurcations can be delayed or completely eliminated. A periodic orbit of the system can be controlled to desired 2(n), 3(m) or 2(n)x3(m) period orbits by the method.
