The articles in this special section focus on the development of electro-mobility (e-mobility)in transportation vehicles. This represents the concept of using electric power train technologies, in-vehicle information, communication technologies, and connected infrastructure to enable the electric propulsion of vehicles and fleets. © 2009-2012 IEEE.
