Aharonov-Bohm type oscillation in antidot lattices

摘要
The resistance is calculated for square antidot lattices in magnetic fields. Aharonov-Bohm type oscillation closely related to quantized energy levels associated with a periodic orbit encircling an antidot has a maximum amplitude around d/a = 0.5-0.6 and almost disappears for d/a similar to 0.7. For d/a similar to 0.8 another type of oscillation appears, whose period corresponds exactly to the flux quantum per unit cell. A possible scenario explaining this peculiar behavior is discussed.
