摘要：
Urban positioning implies to ascertain the urban coordinate in the coordinate system of social and economic development([1]). Firstly, the paper discusses the theoretical framework, method and. procedures of urban positioning. Then, taking Harbin as an example, the paper studies the urban positioning practically. Exerting the above theoretical model, the paper explores the basic pattern of Harbin's urban positioning research. On the basis of the analysis to influencing factors and basic elements of Harbin' urban positioning, the paper expounds the specific contents of Harbin' urban positioning. Moreover the paper puts forwards the stratagem and designates the developmental orientation of Harbin' urban development.
