Measurement of the quantum yield of emission in spectral lines of krypton through the channel of electron-stimulated desorption of cluster ions

摘要
The method of optical time-of-flight mass spectrometry is used to measure the quantum yield of emission excited in a number of krypton spectral lines through the channel of electron-stimulated desorption and subsequent dissociation of excited molecular ions. The efficiency of the process for the electron energy of 150 eV was found to be comparable to the efficiency of excitation of gas atoms by direct electron impact.
