UNCLUTTER ARCHITECTURE, FREE UP SPACE AND EXPAND CONCEPTS

To avoid unhappiness, rehabilitate in a responsible manner, expand without consuming new resources or producing more waste, only transforming, recycling what has been built, reducing the excessive density of large cities, fostering an open, green space. This is the challenge to which architecture has always had to respond. The articles compiled in this issue of PpA explore different ways of building in what has been built at different times, maintaining the common thread of the architectural design's research attitude, and they demonstrate that with each idea for a competition or with each work it is possible to test reforms that enhance the quality of our architecture and the experiences that expand the knowledge needed to generate a new light, which invites us to review all the previous contributions that, likewise, sought to explore or produce examples to enable architecture to grow.
