Learning method of gesture templates for sign language recognition based on gesture components

摘要：
Sign-language gestures are composed of gesture components. We previously developed a recognition method for such sign-language gestures where gesture components are recognized and integrated. With this method, though, gesture templates are not easily created because the relationships between the gesture components and the parameters of the gesture components must be described in the templates, which takes considerable time. In this paper, a method for learning gesture templates so that they can be created more easily is discussed.
