An inferential analysis of the perception of socially responsible practices in the business sector of Imbabura-Ecuador

The present study is the result of the first phase of the research in which an inferential analysis of the perception of the business sector of the province of Imbabura-Ecuador is carried out, the purpose of which is to determine whether the implemented practices of social responsibility they are associated with the development of strategic philosophy. This study is based on the assumption that companies do not develop a strategic philosophy with social responsibility influence their implementation, for which, a quantitative research of correlational scope was carried out, in which researchers from the university participated. , who were responsible for the application of a survey at the provincial level, to determine if there is an association between the variables by means of the chisquare. As a result, it was obtained that the business sector of Imbabura does not develop social responsibility values within its strategic philosophy and that this directly influences its implementation, which is why the perception is negative of the sector, which must be improved through greater socialization and awareness of the importance of its application.
