Evaluation on Sustainable Development of Wuhu-City from 2002 to 2006

摘要
From 2002 to 2006, the ecological footprint method was used to quantitatively analyze the status of sustainable development of Wuhu City. The results are as follows: the per capita ecological footprint continues to rise from 1.2734 hm(2) to 2.14921hm(2) during 2002 to 2006, increased by about 1 time. But the per capita ecological carrying capacity gradually decreased from 0.3094hm(2) to 0.27678hm(2). The ecological footprint exceeds the ecological carrying capacity which suggests Wuhu have a ecological deficit and is a unsustainable development status during 2002 to 2006.
