All-Russian scientific conference with international participation "The Second Chumakov Readings. The Text - the Writer - the Reader" (Novosibirsk, April 12-13, 2019)

The review of the All-Russian Scientific Conference "The Second Chumakov Readings. The Text - the Writer - the Reader" gives a brief list of the main thematic areas of the conference and a summary of the reports. The annual conference is dedicated to the memory of Professor Yury Nikolaevich Chumakov. The topic of the Second Chumakov Readings attracted the attention of Russian and foreign literary scholars and philosophers. The conference began with a speech by E. I. Khudoshina, who presented the second edition of the book by Yu. N. Chumakov "In the direction of the lyrical plot." The main subject of the conference was studying works of fiction and documentary (memoirs, travelogues) literature in three aspects: "Biographical author" and biography of a writer," "Explicit and implicit author" and "Author / writer as a character." At the end of the conference, the participants shared their impressions on the conference ideas and expressed hope for further development of the "Chumakov Readings" project and enhancement of scientific cooperation.
