摘要
The introduction of MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) techniques to charge controllers used in autonomous photovoltaic systems enables to increase the efficiency of solar energy conversion. This technique is based on integrating a controllable DC/DC converter into the charge controller. The converter in conjunction with appropriate maximum power point tracking algorithm ensures adequate fitting of PV modules' power to the load, which in this case is an accumulator. This paper describes theoretical problems, authors own work concerning this matter and research results. Also the research abilities and achievements of author associated with this topic have been presented. (The MPPT technique in charge controllers used in autonomous photovoltaic systems)
