摘要
This study aimed to analyze the influencing factors for fall injuries in hospitalized patients, and proposed preventive strategies. This study analyzed the influencing factors with 160 hospitalized patients who had falls. 160 hospitalized patients who had falls were enrolled from January 1, 2014, to December 31, 2016. These patients were divided into two groups: the group with no/mild injury (105 patients) and the group with a moderate/severe injury (55 patients). The two groups were compared in terms of age, gender, fall score, Barthel index, cerebral infarction status, hypertension status, fall time, fall reason, fall place, accompanied status, fall history, competence level of nurses on duty, and medication status. Statistically significance was found in terms of age, Barthel index, cerebral infarction, hypertension, and fall time, which were as risk factors leading to fall injuries in hospitalized patients. Nurses should strengthen preventive care for falls in elderly patients and patients with poor self-care ability, cerebral infarction and hypertension in hospital.
