摘要
A new method for 3D measurement using digital light processing technique is proposed in this paper Digital light processing (DLP), recently developed by Texas Instruments, provides the benefits of high brightness, contrast ratio, and image quality. In this method, a color pattern which is composed of RGB components is created by software on a computer screen and then projected to an object by a digital light processing which is controlled by the computer The color of each pixel determined by the proportion of its primary color red, green, and blue (RGB) has an one-to-one correspondence with the projection angle. The 3D information of the object is obtained by color decode. Only one image of the object is required to obtain the 3D information of the object. Thus measuring speed is limited only by the frame rate of the camera. There are no mechanical moving parts in this system, therefore the mechanical design can be very simple and reliable.
