摘要
Component adaptation is often required in which the provided interface of one component and required interface of other component is mismatched. In this paper, adaptation method for binary components through adaptation pattern components and CAS(Component adaptation specification) are proposed. The proposed method improves a problem that a component becomes larger continuously by adaptation for the same reason. And we extends the adaptation cases. So far, the conventional component adaptation by a wrapping technique has repeatedly performed wrapping of the existing component whenever component adaptation is required even for the same reason. And wrapping can just solve the interface adaptation. However, the proposed adaptation technique provides a new mechanism for Supporting component adaptation by using an adaptation Pattern Component and CAS so that the adaptation pattern component can be reused for the same reason and we can adapt the component for several reason including the interface adaptation..
