摘要
The industry of Japanese animation dubbing has aroused the interest of researchers since 2010 as a result of the first studies on the adaptations of anime popular series on Spanish television in the 1990s. However, less attention has been paid to anime-specific translation processes in the frame of professional activity. The analysis of the work materials used by the original recording team will shed light on the specific elements of both the original video file and script that the original voice actors use as working materials. The description of these will reveal similarities and differences with the symbols used in the scripts that usually reach the hands of the professional translators of more common languages. This will lead to the conclusion that the availability of the working materials used by human agents in the original production can optimize the professional translation and adaptation job under certain circumstances.
