摘要
Design of a low pressure (LP) turbine stage with the viscous controlled vortex techniques is presented in this paper. 3-D numerical simulation was carried out to research the aerodynamic performance of the LP turbine stage cascades designed with viscous controlled vortex method, where local circulation near the endwalls is modified to consider the viscous effects. Inviscid controlled vortex concept has been applied in the main flow area to obtain the desired reaction. Reasonable circulation redistribution near the endwalls has a special effect to improve the local drastic reaction changes due to the viscous effects near the endwalls. Simulation results are presented and discussed for the modification of a LP turbine stage with such a technique.
