摘要
The dawn of old stars: Classic xanthene dyes like eosin Y (gr. I=goddess of dawn) and green-light irradiation can replace precious metal complexes for the organocatalytic asymmetric α-alkylation of aldehydes, thus rendering the process purely organic. © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
