摘要
We describe the architecture of a distributed medical imaging system. Designed to support both code and date mobility, the system attempts to exploit available computational resources within a collaborating group to apportion imaging tasks to the platforms best suited to their completion. The system is designed around a mixed Java-RMI, CORBA and Agent architecture. The present paper surveys various features of the system.
