The article contains a translation of never yet published correspondence between Latvia's KGB authorities and the regional history museum in Baranowicze, containing depositions by Grzegorz Breslaw, who was confined in local ghetto. It contains a description of the circumstances of Nazi extermination of the Jewish residents of Baranowicze. There were three stages of the slaughter of the local Jews, with the area of the ghetto reduced after each stage. The actual killing was done in rural lands adjacent to the town.
