摘要
According to the characteristics of telemetry system, a simple and reliable solar PV charge controller is designed, which has the function of over charging and discharging protection. The controller uses MSP430 microcontroller and other low power consumption integrated circuit and can reduce power consumption through the intermittent control technology. The segmented PWM charging mode is applied to reduce the separated gas of battery and the impact on the plate. The high side current measurement and control technology are applied to improve the measurement accuracy of the charging and discharging parameters. By using interrupt technique, the design simplifies the self-starting protection circuit of the over current and short-circuit. Charging and discharging data can be collected and the control parameters of the charger can be set up in this design. Therefore, the remote monitoring of PV system through the telemetry system can be realized.
