摘要：

On the basis of archival documents and published sources for the first time in the national historiography stand out and analyzes the key historical and geographical images of the North-East of Russia. Author generalize a large amount of factual material, highlights the images of Stone tundra, Kolyma, Magadan, "Territory". Particular attention is paid to the evolution of ideas about the North-East from the hostile and dangerous edge to the golden heart of Russia and the country's outpost on the distant frontiers.
