摘要
Parent effectiveness training (PET) is a popular training model for parents, both in the US and in Hong Kong. Nonetheless, it is heavily skill-based and training in parental awareness is de-emphasised. This paper reports an evaluative study to examine a revised PET programme that includes a parental awareness training component. The results assessed by a specially designed measure (PEURQ) and the Index of Parental Attitudes were favourable.
