摘要
With Demand Flow Manufacturing companies achieve a sustainable competetive advantage, caused by the reduction of manufacturing lead time and as a result, the increased flexibiltiy to react on volatile customer demand. The ongoing implementation of the "pull"-principle reduces the stock level and alligns production activities towards the demand. Did previous flow manufacturing implementations suffer under a lack of ERP functionalities in many cases, Demand Flow Manufacturing is now closing the gap. This helps companies to achieve p an important milestone on their way to become a 'lean enterprise'.
