Legal research: An emerging paradigm for inquiry

Given the need to develop research methodologies to address new and emerging issues in our field, this article provides an overview of traditional legal research. This article, which admittedly focuses on the American approach, should be of interest to South Africa researchers in Education Law in light of growing interest among scholars on how our subject can help to make schools better places for all children, as it provides a methodology on how to engage in research in our field(1).
