摘要
This paper discusses the use of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) models for physical protection systems (PPS) evaluation. We discuss why MBSE methodologies can be valuable in assessment of PPS. Next, we review the steps in vulnerability assessment (VA) and describe the use of SysML models in these steps. The paper presents examples of SysML models for a VA scenario. Such models can enable the development and integration of other VA tools and reduce the time and cost of conducting VA, which will lead to safer facilities. (C) 2015 Published by Elsevier B.V.
