摘要
The situation of low performance and student desertion in Higher Education is worrisome. The constant results of the academic aptitude test reveal alarming figures of the insufficient preparation of our bachelors, and fundamentally in the Mathematics subject. That is why, at the national and international level progress is being made in new approaches to the teaching-learning of Mathematics, which will have to place the traditional methods based on a behavioral paradigm. Consequently, the purpose of this research is to base the theoretical-conceptual bases for the teaching of Mathematics from a new approach of teaching-learning, and they are the instructional models that make it possible to formulate an instrument (manual) to level the Mathematical knowledge of high school graduates to face the new mathematical epistemes of Higher Education.The content of this article is based on the models used in the teaching-learning of Mathematics, models of curricular planning and the theoretical bases of teaching-learning used in the Metropolitan University of Ecuador.
