Dissipative soliton mediated dispersive wave in silicon-based waveguides

We numerically demonstrate that, under the perturbation of third order dispersion, dissipative solution in active medium can generate strong dispersive waves in the form of radiation. We propose a realistic Si-based waveguide which can excite such dissipative soliton mediated energy radiation. The phase matching condition is studied to explore the underlying physics of this phenomenon.
