摘要
This paper aims at wind-induced natural ventilation with the interference effect produced by the upstream building in two perpendicular buildings. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method is employed. The data of wind tunnel experiment is used to validate this numerical method. It is found that the effect of wind-induced natural ventilation of the upstream building is much better than the downstream building. The interference effects are, gradually reduced with the spacing of buildings increasing. The capable of wind-induced natural ventilation and its change law of downstream building with different space is analyzed. This paper point out that it is insignificant to increase the spacing to improve the capability of wind-induced natural ventilations in two perpendicular buildings when the prevailing wind is parallel to the central vertical line of them. The conclusion can help designer further utilize natural ventilation.
