Study on Risky Decision Making and Opportunism Behaviors

The utility theory in traditional economics is sometimes inconsistent with the observable fact that people's attitudes toward risks are different under the distinct conditions of risks. Based on the above fact, this paper provided the hypothesis of risk neutral presence and the hypothesis of risk attitude multiplicity. Afterward, the paper introduced new indexes to measure the risk preference degree and the uncertainty degree, and established a new model to describe people's attitudes toward risks. It can also be regarded as a new model of risky decision making. Based on the knowledge of attitudes toward risks, the paper analyzed the substance and induction factors of opportunism behaviors, which can provide some strategic thoughts on opportunism prevention. This model can be used for interpreting the fact that currently the harmful opportunism behaviors are overflowing in China.
