Graph Partitioning Link Quality Energy Aware Routing (GPLQEAR) Hybrid Protocol in Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks

摘要
Today, Small and cost-effective devices like video cameras and microphone are created due to the advancements in technology, that can be incorporated smoothly to form a sensor node. Exceptional wireless sensor networks, called wireless multimedia sensor networks (WMSNs) utilize these machines. WMSN is an exceptional ad-hoc WSN that is capable of sensing and convey scalar data as well as multimedia data, such as an image, audio, and video streams, in real-time as well as non real-time. Traffic avoidance, multimedia surveillance networks, enforcement and control systems, industrial process control, environment monitoring etc are the different usages of WMSNs. in the WMSNs the Efficient usage of energy and bandwidth is the main constraint. Hence the hybrid approach Graph Partitioning Iink Quality Energy Awareness Routing (GPLQEAR) Protocol is introduced. This hybrid approach makes use of traditional Spectral Graph Partitioning and Iink Quality Energy Aware Routing methods to achieve energy efficient routing. Experimental results show that hybrid approach makes use of energy efficiency and the packet delivery ratio of more than 85% is achieved in this research.
