On the Stator Flux of an Induction Machine Asymmetrical Supplied

摘要
If a symmetrical three-phase asynchronous machine is powered by an asymmetrical voltage system, the electromagnetic regime becomes asymmetric, and mechanical outputs are influenced as well. The currents and fluxes hodograph is no longer circular but elliptical. The dissymmetry factor of the main quantities depends on the supply voltage dissymmetry factor; in addition it get dependent on the motor operation. Once determined how stator currents and main flux are influenced, studying the stator main flux comes naturally. This paper is a study on how asymmetrical supply influences the stator flux. The approach is based on analytical study and the results have been confirmed by simulation.
