摘要：
A new method for determining the pressure-strain directly from wind-tunnel experiments has been developed with the aid of a newly developed theoretical description of the kinematics of axisymmetric homogeneous turbulence. In the special case of axisymmetric turbulence one can measure the pressure strain correlation without measuring the pressure.
