摘要
This paper provides the description of the ESA Iris with IOC Project objectives in support of the future European Air Traffic Management (ATM), in terms of satellite supported provision of Safety of Life (SoL) services. The focus of this paper is on the description of the Iris Space Segment mission aimed at supporting the ATM service provision in the required service areas. This paper provides also the identification of preliminary Space Segment and Payload design drivers.
