HAZARD MAPPING FOR THE NATURAL DISASTERS

Evidence of natural disasters and the catastrophes has become a priority concern of governments and international organisations. This concern is justified because the damages exceed existing budgets, or disrupt the national economic and social development. Among the main factors which led to the recording of such damages are included producing freshets and flows with large values, economic development targets in flooded areas with high risk of flooding, but high vulnerability areas inhabited (the vulnerability of buildings and infrastructure) in areas in risk. In this paper is presented the flux technology to flood hazard mapping for settlement Foeni, the Timis county.
