摘要：

The idea of World-System proposed by Franco Moretti and other Scholars has been a great impetus to the theoretical study and critical practice in world literature studies since the 19th, century. However, this idea cannot explain the merger of cultures and creation of new literatures in this age of globalization. Although the anthology of world literature edited by American Scholar D. Damrosch and others has included Oriental literature, there still lies behind the guiding principle of West/Non-West dichotomy. Therefore, it is urgent for scholars of world literature studies to abandon the old standard of West/Non-West dichotomy and establish a holistic view of world literature.
