摘要
The purpose of this article is to identify and describe a selection of print and electronic resources that can help educators understand and support students with Asperger syndrome (AS). The most marked characteristic of this disorder is significant impairment in social interaction and relationships. Although children and youth with AS generally do not manifest noteworthy cognitive or language delays, their disability is significant. AS is beginning to affect special education practices in most of the United States, and increasing awareness in both the psychological and educational communities will undoubtedly result in greater numbers of children and youth being recognized. It is therefore critical that educators are provided with resources to help them acquire skills for working effectively with these students.
