摘要：
The Swiss have a long tradition in research activities on scientific balloons and sounding rockets, as well as in related research. The research fields covered are electrodynamics, trace gas chemistry and composition of the middle atmosphere, astrophysics (Sun, stars, interstellar matter) and life science (cell biology). In addition, the research in remote sensing in the microwave region from airplanes, ground and satellites is an important contribution to the understanding of the atmosphere and the Earth boundary layer. All Swiss activities are either in the frame of ESA programs or based on bilateral agreements with national research institutions, agencies and universities in different European countries.
