摘要
A toroidal coil design for percutaneous magnetic stimulation of the bladder is presented. The toroidal coil is submerged in a material with similar conductivity to that of the body in order to reduce the boundary surface effects. This design generates electric fields perpendicular to the skin, offers good localization of the stimulated area, and drastically reduces the current requirements for magnetic stimulation, This stimulation method is a non faradaic alternative to surface electrical stimulation.
