摘要
The Al2O3-MgO-TiO2 system has been assessed with the CALPHAD approach, taking into account the recent experimental data and its compatibility with the available descriptions of the Al2O3-TiO2, Al2O3-MgO, and MgO-TiO2 systems. Two of the solid phases, spinel and pseudobrookite, form continuous solid solutions at high temperatures and have been modelled using the compound energy formalism. The cation disordering in both spinel and pseudobrookite have been considered. For the liquid phase, the two-sublattice partially ionic model has been applied. The thermodynamic parameters have been evaluated to describe the experimental data in the whole compositional range of the system. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
